Embassy Office Parks REIT » has appointed Ritwik Bhattacharjee » as its interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. This decision comes after the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) » issued an order for the suspension of the current CEO, Arvind Maiya. Sebi's directive also required the appointment of an interim CEO, leading to the selection of Bhattacharjee.
Ritwik Bhattacharjee has been with Embassy REIT since its inception and played a significant role in the company's successful listing in 2019. Before stepping into the interim CEO role, he served as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Embassy REIT. Bhattacharjee brings extensive experience to the position, having worked in investment banking for over 12 years with global firms such as Nomura, Citi, UBS, and JP Morgan.
Embassy REIT is India’s first publicly traded real estate investment trust, managing a diverse portfolio of office spaces. It owns and operates 51.1 million square feet across 14 office parks in key cities, including Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and the National Capital Region (NCR).
