Rakesh Thukral » is poised to succeed Warren Fernandez » as the new CEO of Edelman’s Asia Pacific (APAC) » operations. Fernandez, who is stepping down to pursue a new career opportunity, will continue with the company until the end of the year to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
Reflecting on his tenure at Edelman, Fernandez expressed his gratitude, stating, “It has been a privilege to work alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry. A new role has emerged that aligns with my long-standing interest in public policy, offering me the chance to engage with critical political and geopolitical issues.”
Thukral, who previously held the position of APAC Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Edelman India, will report directly to Ed Williams, Edelman’s President for International. During his time at the company, Thukral has been instrumental in driving growth by focusing on client needs, developing talent, and diversifying the firm’s services across the region.
