Mr. Marine » is excited to announce the appointment of Charles Laarhuis » as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 15, 2024. Laarhuis will succeed Karel Peters in leading the global operations of the rapidly growing TIC organization.

Charles brings extensive experience from the maritime and oil & gas sectors. After several years at sea as a marine engineer, he transitioned to shore-based leadership roles in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) and classification industries, managing operations across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Recently, he has focused on product development and M&A activities » within the TIC sector, successfully expanding into emerging markets.
The board also conveyed their deep gratitude to Karel Peters for his invaluable contributions over the past four and a half years.
